2. Your files are not personal data we receive
All DocJuno tools work inside your web browser. Files you open are read from your device, processed in its memory and saved back to it. They are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's, and we have no way to see them. Closing the browser tab removes them from memory.
3. What data is processed and why
- Server logs. When you open the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested address and browser type. This is used to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Visit counter (our own, no cookies). Our server counts page views, which tools are used and whether they worked, the site that sent you (domain only), the device type, the browser family and the language version. Nothing is saved on your device. To count unique visitors per day we use a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, made with a random key that is deleted after the day ends; the IP address itself is never stored. File names and file contents are never sent. We only see totals. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the Service is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Statistics (Google Analytics 4). Only if you accept statistics cookies, we measure page views and which tools are used. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. File names and file contents are never sent. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- E-mail messages. If you write to us, we use your address and message to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering questions and complaints (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not run user accounts, we do not sell data and we do not make automated decisions or build profiles about you.
4. Recipients
Data may be processed on our behalf by:
- the hosting and IT service providers that keep the Service running,
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, only if you accept statistics cookies,
- public authorities, where the law requires it.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Google and some hosting providers may process data in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023) or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long data is kept
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Visit counter: daily totals are kept while the Service runs; the daily hash and its key are deleted the next day.
- Statistics cookies: up to 2 years in your browser, or until you withdraw consent. Google keeps the collected statistics for up to 14 months.
- E-mail correspondence: as long as needed to handle the matter and for the limitation period of possible claims.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to change your consent, or write to contact@docjuno.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, uodo.gov.pl.
8. Cookies
Details about cookies and local storage are in the Cookie Policy.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the Service changes, for example if ads are introduced. The current version is always published on this page.
