How to delete pages from a PDF without uploading it
Type the numbers of the pages you want gone and press Remove pages. The tool opens your PDF in the browser, builds a brand new document from the pages you are keeping, and gives it to you as a download ending in _edited.pdf. The kept pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and nothing gets blurrier.
This is different from hiding a page or covering it with a white box in an editor. The new file is assembled from the pages you keep, so the removed ones do not show up in any viewer, thumbnail panel or printout. That is useful when you take out an internal price list or a page of personal details before passing a document on.
Numbers can be single pages or ranges, separated by commas: 3, 8-10, 15 removes five pages. You will see the page count next to the file before you start, and the tool stops you if you try to remove every page.
Problems when removing pages from a PDF
The page number printed on the paper does not match
Many documents start their visible numbering after a cover, a table of contents or a few pages numbered i, ii, iii. The tool counts physical pages from the very first one. Use the page indicator in your PDF viewer, which shows the real position, not the printed number.
Every second page is blank
This is the classic result of a double-sided scan of single-sided paper. There is no "every other page" switch, so list them: 2, 4, 6, 8 and so on. For long scans, check whether your scanner app has a "skip blank pages" option for next time.
The file did not get much smaller
Removing text pages saves little space, because fonts used by the remaining pages must stay. Deleting pages full of photos or scans helps a lot more. If you need a real size cut, run the result through Compress PDF.
An error says the pages could not be read
Check the field for words or symbols. Only numbers, commas and hyphens work. Also check that the numbers are not higher than the page count. A password-protected PDF has to be unlocked before any page can be removed.
Remove pages or Extract pages?
Both give you a new PDF with fewer pages. The difference is what you type. In Remove PDF Pages you list what should go. In Extract PDF Pages you list what should stay.
Pick whichever list is shorter. Dropping 2 blank pages from a 30-page contract is a job for Remove. Keeping 3 pages out of a 200-page catalogue is quicker with Extract.

Separate them with commas and use ranges: 1, 4, 9-12 removes six pages.
Can I undo it?
Your original file is never changed, so just start again with it.
How do I delete a page from a PDF on an iPhone?
